HVAC Lead Installer (Performance Pay | $90K-$130K+)

Lead Installer – High Performance Role With High Earnings Haynes Heating & Air Conditioning is a fast-growing, family-owned company serving Northwest Georgia since 1977. We are looking for a Lead Installer who can run jobs, lead a crew, and deliver clean, high-quality installs — done right the first time. This is a high-performance position built for installers who want to be rewarded for productivity, quality, and leadership — not just time on the clock. Compensation Structure (Performance-Based) Performance-based pay using sold hours / job-based (piece rate) structure Top Lead Installers earning $90,000 – $130,000+ annually Earnings driven by: Job efficiency (sold hours vs actual hours) Install quality (low/no callbacks) Crew productivity and leadership The better and cleaner you install, the more you make. What You’ll Be Responsible For Lead and complete residential/light commercial HVAC installs Ensure installs are completed correctly the first time (no callbacks) Mentor and develop junior installers and apprentices Install: Air handlers, condensers, furnaces, heat pumps Refrigerant lines (brazing/soldering) Duct systems (sheet metal, flex, duct board) Gas piping connections Wire low and high voltage HVAC systems properlyEnsure installs meet code and manufacturer specifications Manage materials and ensure job readiness Complete install checklists and documentation Track materials used for job costing Coordinate with dispatch on job completion or follow-ups What Success Looks Like Low/no callback rate Jobs pass inspection first time High crew efficiency and clean installs Strong apprentice development Clean, organized job sites and trucks Qualifications 3–7+ years HVAC install experience Proven ability to lead install crews Strong knowledge of wiring, airflow, and install practices EPA Certification Valid Driver’s License Ability to train and develop other techs This Role Is NOT For Installers who cut corners or rush jobs Techs who rely on hourly pay vs production Individuals who do not want accountability or leadership responsibility Don't like following a process and verify the process is completed.
