Pictona is a world-class pickleball facility located in Holly Hill, Florida (part of the greater Daytona Beach area). Pictona includes 49 pickleball courts, 13 of which are covered, including a championship court that seats 1200. It also includes an activity center, locker rooms, player shop, and a restaurant called the Kitchen.

The Education Associate will work closely with the Education Director to coordinate the educational programs at Pictona. The plan is that the Associate will become the Education Director once it is established that the Associate has the knowledge, skills, and leadership to do so..

The Education Associate’s duties include the development and delivery of courses for players and recruiting, training, and coordinating our certified instructors. The position also includes assisting with the administration of our junior and adult player camps.

This is a fulltime position working onsite at Pictona. The essential skills are (1) the ability to conceptualize courses, help develop the resources for those courses, and guide others in teaching those courses and (2) to provide the organizational skills to administer our junior and adult player camps.

The educator selected for this position will have demonstrated the teaching of sports skills, preferably pickleball. While this position is not a teaching position, it is a position supervising the teaching staff. An in-depth knowledge of pickleball is essential, but being a professional player is not. Excellent organizational skills are essential to administer the instructional camps that are offered.

Compensation for the position is $50,000 to $60,000. The starting date is immediate.
