Technical Project Manager - Applied AI (Banking)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of applied experience in technical project or program management, leading complex technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communication and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and internal customers
• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and governance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business and technical objectives into actionable plans
• Technical fluency in modern platforms and delivery concepts, including moving systems from prototype to production
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools for technical program management, with careful validation and awareness of data sensitivity
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and follow data-handling expectations
• Experience partnering with technology operations teams on production readiness, post-delivery follow-up, and continuous improvement
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a record of building productive partnerships and aligning outcomes
• Preferred: Bachelors degree in computer science or a closely related field
• Preferred: Experience supporting platform, infrastructure, or shared-services delivery organizations
• Preferred: Experience with Agile methods and tools, including backlog and dependency management, iteration planning, and metrics

• Create and carry out project and program plans covering scope, timelines, dependencies, resources, and delivery milestones
• Partner with internal customers to manage delivery from start to finish, including follow-up, operational readiness, and maintenance planning
• Support timely decisions through effective governance, stakeholder communication, and clear status reporting
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating when appropriate and driving resolution
• Work with software engineering, quality assurance, product, and operations teams to define deliverables and acceptance criteria
• Track progress, adjust priorities and schedules, and manage cross-team dependencies
• Use authorized AI capabilities to support project planning and risk summaries, checking generated content and handling data according to its sensitivity
• Encourage reusable, AI-assisted governance materials and reporting, ensuring human review and adherence to delivery standards
