Join the LBC Vets team in Long Beach, CA, where we are seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician who excels in precision, compassion, and teamwork.

This role offers an hourly pay range of $18-22 , along with health insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off to support you on and off the clock.

Your schedule includes weekend shifts from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, with overtime available, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals who value consistency.

OUR IDEAL CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Certified Pharmacy Technician
Strong math skills for dosage calculations
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Comfort working around animals
Knowledge of veterinary medications and basic pharmacology is preferred

YOUR ROLE AS A CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

You work hands-on with veterinary-prescribed medications, carefully preparing, measuring, labeling, and dispensing each order with accuracy and care. You calculate proper dosages based on species, size, and condition, maintain detailed medication records and inventory, and ensure pharmaceuticals are stored and handled correctly. You also serve as a trusted resource for pet owners by clearly explaining dosage instructions, storage needs, and potential side effects, helping them feel confident in their pet's care while supporting the veterinary team every step of the way.
