PCU/Medsurg Registered Nurse (RN)
This position is for a 13-week contract in a Medical-Surgical/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. The role requires the ability to work every other weekend and holiday, with no block scheduling available.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU/Medsurg environment.
- Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Experience in a PCU/Medsurg setting preferred.
Work Schedule
The schedule includes evening shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotation for weekends and holidays as required.
