Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 6 months of recent acute care hospital CT experience.

Details

CT Scan department on the 3rd floor of the main hospital building

Unit houses 3 CT scanners (soon to be 4), including a GE Revolution 512, GE Evolution 128, GE 64-slice, and GE 128 Frontier scanner

Meditech EMR used for charting

Procedures include stroke, trauma, head and chest imaging, abdomen/pelvis, and CTA studies

Shift runs Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence and Level 1 Trauma Center

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital CT Tech experience

BLS certification required

ARRT (R) certification required

License required if applicable

Trauma and stroke experience preferred

IV skills preferred

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Work alongside a team of 13 staff including charge techs, day techs, mid-shift techs, and a transporter

Positive, customer service-focused attitude with strong communication skills valued

Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Located close to Denver University, downtown Denver, and mountain recreation areas

Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates will not be considered
