Accounting Operations Specialist

Growing Managed Service Provider needs an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant who understands the IT services industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling recurring revenue (MRR), project-based billing, and integrating PSA tools with accounting software. Responsiblities:Accounts Receivable and Invoicing — Handle complex invoicing, including prorated adjustments, block hours, and consumption-based cloud billing (Microsoft 365, AWS, backup licenses, etc.); monitor accounts receivable aging reports and execute collections activities; manage the monthly automated billing lifecycle for managed services contracts; process client payments via ACH, credit cards and lockbox.Accounts Payable and Expense Management — Manage vendor invoices and reconcile them against distributor procurement platforms (such as Ingram Micro, Pax8, TD SYNNEX), audit vendor bills to ensure services paid for are current; prepared and execute weekly/bi-weekly accounts payable disbursements; reconcile company credit cards and expense reports.Payroll Administration — Process/coordinate bi-weekly payroll, including tracking technician overtime, commissions, or billable hour bonuses.Banking Reconciliations — Daily bank reconciliations across multiple operating, payroll and savings accounts; monitor hardware/software inventory adjustments and ensure proper tracking of prepayments an deposits.Other: Monitor and file sales and use tax; month-end close support.
