This onsite opportunity, based in a collaborative elementary school environment, spans from ASAP through late May, offering a consistent and rewarding contract role. You'll manage a manageable caseload (no more than 60 students), delivering both direct therapy and conducting evaluations to support a diverse range of communication needs in a school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Active Alabama ASHA Certification
• Alabama Educator SLP Certification (or eligibility to obtain; start allowed with credential pending)
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical candidates encouraged
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students onsite
• Conduct assessments and evaluations for referred students, maintaining compliance with state guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other professionals
• Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in meetings as required
• Work effectively with multidisciplinary school teams to create a positive impact on student outcomes
