Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition.
• May be required to float to like units or lower-acuity units across multiple campuses within the health system as needed (excluding the ED).
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the associated holiday weekend.
• Complete assigned non-billable compliance modules by the designated deadlines.
• Maintain current BLS (AHA), RN licensure, and NIH Stroke Scale certification (NIH may be obtained or renewed during onboarding if needed).

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA).
• BLS certification required – must be American Heart Association (AHA) .
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (may be obtained or renewed during onboarding).
• Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in Telemetry.
• Travel nursing experience required.
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history required.
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO); no new RTO requests after submittal.
• One supervisory-level reference required at time of submittal.
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or within large health systems.
• Familiarity with EPIC as a primary electronic health record platform.
• Availability for same-day interviews or within 3 business days of submittal (please indicate time zone).
