Care Coordinator (Medical ReceptionistPSR)

FootHills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy a member of the Confluent Health family is looking for a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Gladstone team!

You set the tone for the entire patient experience: organized warm and professional from the very first call through every visit. This is a fast-paced multi-tasking role where no two days look the same and where your ability to stay calm follow through and take ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming professional first impression for patients visitors and referral sources
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in check-out scheduling insurance verification/authorization and phone calls
• Review schedule and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information creating or updating patient records and helping patients understand next steps
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments working waitlists filling cancellations and following up with patients who need future visits
• Collect copays balances and other patient payments accurately and professionally including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation

Qualifications

What Were Looking For:

You dont need a healthcare background to be great in this role but you do need to be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people thrives in a busy environment and takes ownership of your work. If youve worked in any customer-facing role and want to build a career in healthcare we want to hear from you.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing role this could include retail hospitality call center medical reception or any setting where you regularly interacted with the public in person or over the phone
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once while staying organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable and confident communicating on the phone including handling upset or frustrated callers with patience and professionalism
• Basic computer proficiency: comfortable learning new systems navigating scheduling software sending emails and working in spreadsheets
• No prior medical experience required we provide comprehensive training including EMR navigation insurance fundamentals scheduling workflows and phone etiquette

About

Compensation: $17-$17.50/HR
