Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer

To support the Tendem project, the part-time freelance Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage end-to-end data extraction workflows, leveraging web scraping and data processing expertise to deliver high-quality datasets in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring accuracy and reliable delivery of structured datasets Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution while meeting defined requirements Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches to handle JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior Required Qualifications At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus Strong experience in Python web scraping, including handling dynamic content and APIs Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization as part of real workflows
