Col Solare Harvest Cellar Hand

Col Solare Winery is a small, iconic Washington estate owned by the Antinori Family. The 29-acre estate vineyard and winery on Red Mountain focus on producing ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

We are currently seeking candidates for our harvest cellar hand positions to join our team at Col Solare Winery in Benton City, Washington. This seasonal position will be exposed to all aspects of cellar production at an ultra-premium winery.

Duration of Work: August 2026 – November 2026
Pay Scale: $18-$20/hr
Housing Stipend $750/month if relocating 100 or more miles from Benton City

In this harvest position you will:
•  Work with a small team to produce ultra-premium wine on Red Mountain
•  Assist in all harvest cellar activities including but not limited to:
o Wash and sanitize all wine contact equipment
o Operate and clean crush equipment
o Complete work orders to perform desired tasks
o Perform punch downs, pump overs, and additions to musts and wines
o Rack and transfer wine
o Do all stages of barrel work on metal racks: barrel cleaning, filling, topping, stirring, and racking
o Drain tanks, dig out pomace, and press pomace
o Perform other duties as assigned by manager
•  Maintain the highest level of sanitation in production work areas
•  Maintain a positive relationship, encouraging strong communication and teamwork
•  Be available for long and irregular hours during peak harvest periods or on various shifts
•  Comply with all safety requirements

Working Environment:
•  Must be able to lift 50 lbs
•  Must be able to work in cold and wet conditions
•  Must be able to bend, squat, and stand for long periods
•  Must be able to climb stairs, catwalk, and ladders
•  May be required to work in confined space

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
•  Must be 18 years of age
•  Valid Driver’s License
•  High school diploma or GED equivalent required
•  Must be reliable, on-time, and engaged
•  Must be available to work at least 60 hours per week during the peak of the season
•  High work capacity and ability to manage several projects simultaneously
•  Ability to work with all types of personalities across different work functions
•  Ability to carry out direction both verbally and/or in written form
•  Ability to work autonomously
