About the Opportunity

An established mixed-animal veterinary practice in Northeast Kansas is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals, livestock, and equine patients.

This opportunity is well suited for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship and a diverse caseload.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide preventive healthcare, wellness examinations, and vaccination programs

• Diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions in companion animals, livestock, and equine patients

• Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures

• Provide herd health consultations and collaborate with livestock producers

• Work closely with veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care

• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and producers

Qualifications

Required:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary college

• Eligibility for Kansas and Missouri veterinary licensure

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Commitment to high-quality medicine and excellent client service

• Willingness to work with companion animals, livestock, and equine patients

Preferred:

• Experience in mixed-animal practice

• Small animal surgery and dentistry experience

• Experience with beef cattle, small ruminants, and equine

• Positive, collaborative, team-oriented attitude
