RN-Registered Nurse // ED - Emergency Department $1,246 weekly stipends $18/hour $648 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 7/13/2026 13 weeks Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week About Facility 457 licensed beds Trauma Level III Teaching Hospital Chest Pain Center Stroke Center of Excellence Bariatric Center of Excellence Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Unit Information Minimum Years of Experience required? ED RN: 2 years ED exp (Resource Team) Will you accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred but will consider (Resource Team) Patient Types/Common Diagnoses Trauma level 3 – GSW, Stabbing, MVA, Falls, Stroke, Heart Failure, Chest pain, patient requiring fluid resuscitation/blood products, COPD, Cardiac Cath pre, ETOH/CIWA, IVDA, mental health, Respiratory illnesses, GI Disorders and infections, Liver Failure, AKI/CKD Patient Ratios RN: 1:5 max (acuity dependent) Required License, National Certification, Certs BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required. Preferred: TNCC (ED RN) Skills required Trauma experience, Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, conscious sedation, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, critical care drips, blood administration, etc. (ED RN) Support within the Department CNA – ratios vary Receptionist/HUC Charge nurse, 24/7 – may or may not have patients IV/VAT Team RT, 24/7 Hospitalist, 24/7 ED Physicians Technology/Equipment EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Phillips Floating Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, any Freestanding ED within Region, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH) If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) Orientation (facility and unit) NEO 2 days departmental Scheduling Weekend rotation: every other No call for travelers Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours Other notes Scrub Color: Navy Parking: Free TalentBurst is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workforce. #J-18808-Ljbffr
