Manufacturing Cost Accountant - Process Improvement

Cost Accountant We are looking for a Cost Accountant that has experience within a manufacturing environment Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field 2-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or similar environment Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and/or QuickBooks Online Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and inventory accounting Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities Long-term stability with a growing manufacturing organization Direct access to leadership and opportunity to improve processes Responsibilities: This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within metal fabrication, who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls, and partnering with leadership Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and monthly financial statements Manage accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements Maintain, analyze, and improve accounting records and financial reports Reconcile bank accounts and prepare cash flow reports Implement rules-based automation for accounting systems, bank reconciliations, and approvals Review, enhance, and maintain internal controls for AR, AP, Payroll, Inventory, and Purchasing Review and maintain the Chart of Accounts and implement company-wide accounting processes Prepare and submit tax filings, including sales/use tax and corporate income tax returns Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities Collaborate with management to support operational and financial decision-making #J-18808-Ljbffr Synergy Staffing
