Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in radiological technology or equivalent, preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T). Required.
• ARRT Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) credential. Required.
• Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT) or equivalent. Required.
• Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT). Required.
• One year of experience as a radiation therapist.
• Fluoroscopy permit from the state of practice or Department of Health Services, preferred.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Additional experience in radiologic technology preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Pattern: 5x8.
• Weekly Hours: 40.

Impacting Patient Care

Administer ionizing irradiation to patients according to physician prescriptions and departmental protocols. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment. Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment. Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy. Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care.
