End Date: 12/05/2026
Shift: 12-Hour Night (7p-7a)
Hours/Week: 36/48-hour rotation (including every other weekend)
Employment Type: Travel Contract
License/Certs: Louisiana State Licensure, BLS, NRP required; ACLS/PALS preferred
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years, high-risk delivery and NICU/PICU experience needed

What You'll Do
- Provide advanced respiratory care support across multiple hospital campuses
- Attend high-risk deliveries and support NICU/PICU patients, including neonate intubation and airway management
- Manage ventilators, perform ABG analysis, and administer inhaled medications including nitric oxide
- Support critical care units such as ED, ICU, Step-down, and Med/Tele services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Support transportation of patients via ground or air, including use and documentation of transport equipment
- Adapt to flexible floating across four different hospital campuses as needed
What You Need
- Valid Louisiana State Licensure and a current, unrestricted Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (National Accreditation through NBRC required)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in high-acuity settings, with neonate high-risk delivery experience preferred
- Proficiency with respiratory equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, Vapotherm, NICU oscillator, and related devices
- Strong skills in airway management, ventilator support, ABG analysis, and emergency response procedures
- Ability to work variable shifts and travel between multiple campuses within a 20-25 minute drive
