CNA Training Program

Eden Senior Care , founded in 2016, is a growing Healthcare Management company, focused on managing and operating Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living communities in Minnesota, Ohio Wisconsin. Are you passionate about helping others and ready for a rewarding career in healthcare? Edenbrook Sheboygan is offering a FREE CNA Training Program - your chance to become a Certified Nursing Assistant with no upfront costs and no student debt.

Classes start the week of October 19th, 2026. The course is approximately 8 weeks long, with a commitment of 10 hours per week (evenings for virtual learning and Saturdays for lab and clinicals in person).

How the Program Works:

• The training is completely free - no tuition
• We provide the textbooks and other learning materials at no cost to you!
• The course is hybrid learning with virtual and in-person lab and clinicals.
• Full and part-time employment opportunities, as a CNA, are available immediately after successful completion of the class.
• Part-time work may be available to some students during the class. Activity Aide positions will be offered, but spaces are limited.
• Completing the program is your pathway to a CNA position at Edenbrook Sheboygan. We invest in this training because we're looking for people who want to build their career with us, and we expect graduates to join our team as a CNA after finishing the class.

What You'll Do as a CNA:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll provide hands-on, compassionate care that helps each guest live with dignity and reach their highest level of well-being. Day to day, you will:

• Provide quality, individualized care in a nurturing environment that supports each guest's physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Support guests with incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, and communication.
• Protect skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers and skin tears by repositioning immobile guests, changing incontinent guests, and applying moisturizers as needed.
• Perform tasks assigned by the floor nurse, such as checking vital signs, weighing guests, applying creams and ointments, and collecting specimens.
• Know and support each guest's individual care plan, sharing observations about needs, preferences, and behavioral changes with supervisors.
• Assist the Wound Care Nurse as directed.
• Complete medical records accurately and in line with nursing policies, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Follow established infection control, standard precaution, and safety practices when providing care and using equipment.
• Report hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, and supply issues to the supervisor.
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously.
• Assist with new admissions, re-admissions, and room transfers within the facility.
• Communicate effectively and tactfully with guests, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services.
