Registered Nurse - Acute Care Services

Location: Elko, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 18:45 - 07:15

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Services team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment, specifically in medicine, surgery, telemetry, and pediatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients across various age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Monitor patient conditions and implement care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management.
• Maintain accurate medical records using the MEDHOST EHR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of Nevada or eligible for licensure.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required (with a grace period for obtaining post-employment).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, especially in Med/Surg and Telemetry settings.
