Test & Evaluation Engineer 3

Description: 

ENG- Support propulsion test execution requirements and resources for pressure testing and clean room operations while coordinating test activities, documentation, resource allocation, scheduling, cleaning activities, and communication with propulsion test management and engineering teams.

*Contract - 12 Months
*1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
*Must be a U.S. Citizen

#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree with typically 7+ years of experience in an engineering classification, Master's degree with typically 5+ years of experience in an engineering classification, or PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification
*7+ years of experience in test laboratory operations
*7+ years of experience performing propulsion testing involving propulsion systems, pressure and fluid systems, and vacuum systems
*4+ years of experience with precision cleaning of hardware
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Preferred Skills

*4+ years of experience with clean room operations
*Experience as a lead, supervisor, or manager
*Propellant and chemical handling and storage requirements

#Job Duties & Functions

*Support development and tracking of performance metrics, trend analysis, and action plans with leadership
*Assist with development of test execution plans covering resource allocation, top-level schedules, equipment and floor-space usage, test support requirements, and program milestones
*Improve communication and collaboration through plans that provide status of current testing and cleaning activities in support of upcoming activities
*Maintain test and cleaning documentation supporting execution and cleaning requirements
*Track current and upcoming test phases to status cleaning and testing activities against program need dates
*Coordinate and collaborate with propulsion test management and engineers on a daily basis
*Work under general direction
