OR RN - Eagle Pass, TX

Seeking dedicated and experienced professionals skilled in both Operating Room Registered Nursing and Certified Surgical Technology for an exciting contract opportunity. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• On call 2-3 days per week, including every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Current RN license or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) designation through NBSTSA
• High school diploma required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum two years of operating room experience, working as either circulating RN or certified scrub tech
• Ability to take on-call shifts as outlined
• Must live at least 100 miles away

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments for each case
• Uphold strict infection control and patient safety standards throughout procedures
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the medical record
• Monitor and communicate patient status, ensuring timely response to any changes
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide essential coverage
