Role Description The Automotive Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based at Alexandria Exxon North in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities include performing routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, as well as diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment. The mechanic will complete repairs on brakes, engines, suspensions, batteries, air conditioning systems, and other components in accordance with safety and quality standards. Daily tasks also include conducting Virginia state safety inspections and emissions testing, documenting work performed, communicating clearly with service advisors and customers, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
