Accessioner Position

Pride Health is hiring an Accessioner to support our client's medical facility in Paducah, KY. This is a three-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accessioner to join our client's team in Paducah, KY to support laboratory operations within a hospital setting. This role is responsible for accessioning specimens, performing accurate data entry, and ensuring proper handling and documentation throughout the intake process. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous laboratory experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specimen accessioning and related laboratory intake activities
• Accurately enter patient and specimen information into laboratory systems
• Verify and maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure specimens are labeled and processed correctly
• Maintain compliance with laboratory and hospital procedures
• Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Follow quality assurance and safety standards at all times

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous laboratory experience required

Additional Information

• Location: Paducah, KY
• Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)
• Pay Range: $16 - $18 hourly
• Shifts: 2nd Shift Mon – Fri, 3:00 AM – 11:30 PM
