Senior Tax Accountant

Overview Are you a seasoned Tax Accountant ready to step into a senior-level role with a well-established, collaborative firm in Tacoma, WA ? We’re looking for someone who thrives in an onsite environment, is confident handling complex tax returns, and wants to grow with a forward-thinking team. Compensation Base pay range : $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr This range is provided by Talent Edge Recruiting. What You’ll Do Prepare and review individual, trust, and business tax returns Handle complex tax scenarios , including 1031 exchanges and multi-state filings Conduct thorough tax research on compliance and planning issues Collaborate closely with the Tax Manager and Partners to ensure top-tier client service Assist in tax planning and projections for high-net-worth clients and businesses Serve as a knowledgeable, trusted resource for both clients and internal staff 3+ years of tax experience (open to more or less for the right fit) Strong knowledge of complex returns and tax planning strategies Experience with high-net-worth clients a plus CPA or EA preferred (or working toward certification) Confident in performing independent tax research and presenting findings Proactive, self-motivated, and dependable – a true team player Must be open, honest, and aligned with company values and goals Tools You’ll Use CCH Suite Firm PFX Engagement Access Tax CCH Firm Microsoft Excel Qualifications Strong knowledge of complex returns and tax planning strategies Experience with high-net-worth clients a plus CPA or EA preferred (or working toward certification) Onsite environment Notes Local candidates preferred Please note: This position is open to candidates authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
