Accounting Manager

LHH is assisting our client in Tulsa on their search for an Accounting Manager to join their permanent team. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and managing the month-end and year-end close processes. This role supervises accounting staff and partners with leadership to support financial objectives and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily activities of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements and management reports Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Coordinate audits and serve as a liaison with external auditors Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff Support strategic initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA preferred but not required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH Recruitment Solutions
