In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience. Position Details: Location: This is a float role, candidate must be able to commute to clinics based in Manhattan (Will review clinics during the interview) Schedule: Full-time, hours vary between 7am-7pm; must be able to work weekends. This position requires to be National Registered / Certified Medical Assistant. Spanish and English speaking required. Compensation: $20-$24/hr. Key Responsibilities: Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience. Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR). Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification. Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems. Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment. Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems. Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments. Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, required . 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required . Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection , required . Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred . Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required .
