Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Variable Days

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting at a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS as required
• Maintain compliance with unit-specific protocols and teaching hospital standards
• Float to other facilities within the health system as operationally needed, provided requisite qualifications are met
• Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules via the designated learning platform (non-billable, completed during pre-start and annually)

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• BSN required
• Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months required
• Must meet COVID-19 vaccination and booster requirements; proof required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Familiarity with large academic or multi-facility health system environments
