The unit has a total of 36 beds with an average daily census of 33. Patient types include post-operative patients and various surgical cases. The RN to patient ratio is 1:6. Support staff includes LPNs and CNAs with defined ratios. Duties may include general activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with mobility. Charge nurse duties are part of the role. The facility operates with a 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist team. Telemetry monitoring is available. Technology utilized includes an electronic medical record system and specialized medical equipment. Census and care expectations align with other medical-surgical units within the facility.
