As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Property in West Nyack, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. Pay Rate: $18.75 - $19.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations throughout the retail property in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the property, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to property management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
