Portfolio Manager

Commercial Lending AnalystResponsible for providing competent credit analysis and portfolio management for commercial lending activities. Oversee credit workflows and processes necessary for the team to achieve optimal levels of production while maintaining excellent credit quality in the portfolio. Work directly with lenders and clients on requests.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform commercial loan underwriting tasks such as analyze business & personal tax returns and financial statements, identify trends and concerns and work closely with assigned commercial team and customers to understand & mitigate credit issuesAssess credit worthiness of individuals, companies, and institutionsAssist Commercial Relationship Managers in the collection and review of regulatory compliance items, not limited to but including CRA, Adverse Action and other regulatory compliance requirementsMaintain optimal portfolio quality by monitoring and ensuring:Loan covenants are monitored in a manner that is timely and accurateAnnual loan reviews are completed in a manner that is timely and accurateGraded credits have accurate and updated Problem Loan ReportsMaturing loans are tracked and properly addressed prior to maturityBorrowing Base Certificates are timely, accurate and filedLines secured with A/R & inventory assets are not overdrawnFinancial reporting requirements are timely, accurate and filedPortfolio delinquency is minimizedProvide informed professional opinions to loan officers regarding applicants financial/credit status, suggest loan structures, and support the lending processAdherence and knowledge of loan policy to be used while underwriting and discussing potential loan requestsUndertake risk analysis using regional and industry-specific data and gauges market trendsPeriodically accompany Commercial Relationship Managers on calls with existing and/or prospective customers as requestedClearly and professionally communicate with lending teams and customersResponsible for maintaining organized and current digital credit files.
