Marketing Specialist

About the Role Stout Roofing is looking for a hands-on Marketing Specialist to own and grow our marketing efforts in-house, based out of our St. George office — our central hub, where you'll work closely with our field crews to capture content and stay connected to the work. (We're open to a strong candidate working from our Cedar City office.) You'll support marketing across all of our locations: southern Utah, our established Mesa, Arizona office, and our growing Las Vegas market. This is a build-it role for someone who can both create content and run the systems behind it — from social media and Google to trade shows, lead tracking, and community sponsorships. You'll be the person who makes our brand visible across every market we serve, and who can prove what's working through real ROI. What You'll Do Google Platform Management - Run and optimize all of our Google business platforms across every market — St. George, Cedar City, Mesa, and Las Vegas — including Local Services Ads, Google Ads (PPC), and our Google Business Profiles. Respond to Google reviews promptly and strategically to keep our accounts optimized and our reputation strong. Lead Tracking & ROI Reporting - Work closely with office staff in each location to ensure every incoming lead is tracked and followed up on. Provide regular reporting on spend, leads, cost-per-lead, and conversion by channel and by market so we can measure accurate ROI and make smart budget decisions. SEO - Own our search engine optimization strategy and keep us competitive in local search across all of our markets. Social Media (Creation & Advertising) - Create and post original content across all major platforms — Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This isn't generic photos of finished roofs; we want engaging, trend-aware content that features our team and shows personality, the kind of creative that performs on Instagram and TikTok today. You'll also manage paid promotion, boosting posts and running social ads as needed. Photo & Video Library - Build and maintain an organized library of content — newly completed jobs, before-and-after shots, and videos of our crews in action across all locations — coordinating with field teams to consistently capture quality footage. Reputation Management - Manage and grow our presence across all review platforms — Google, Facebook, Yelp, Better Business Bureau, and Nextdoor — for every market, responding to reviews and keeping our reputation strong everywhere customers look. Referral & Review Generation - Build and run programs that actively generate reviews and reward customer referrals — not just responding after the fact, but driving new word-of-mouth business. Email & SMS Marketing - Build and run email and SMS campaigns — newsletters, promotions, and follow-ups to past customers — to drive repeat and referral business. Community & Sponsorship Coordination - Coordinate our local sponsorships, school advertising, and community partnerships across our markets as an ongoing lead-generation channel. Website Support - Work closely with our IT specialist to keep our website aligned with the marketing strategy, including content updates, landing pages, and overall consistency between the site and our campaigns. Trade Shows & Swag - Design and order all branded swag and promotional materials. Get us registered and actively participating in trade shows and community events across our markets, increasing our presence to generate more leads. Graphic Design - Produce simple in-house graphics so we can create and adjust our own marketing materials without relying on outside vendors. What We're Looking For A creative self-starter comfortable both behind the camera and in the analytics Experience with social media management and paid social Familiarity with Google Ads, Local Services Ads, and Google Business Profile Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar) Email/SMS marketing experience a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to follow-through Comfortable working within a budget and reporting on results Marketing degree or equivalent experience preferred Why Stout Roofing We're an established, growing roofing contractor with a strong local reputation and offices across southern Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.
