Our company is looking for an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our fleet. You must have a Class C Driver's license and some commercial driving or trucking experience. A background in roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck is a must. Your primary duties will revolve around assisting disabled motorists with services such as changing their tires or transporting them to a nearby garage, or towing cars that have a parking or other illegal infraction. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and can manage their time well while on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents
- Stay in contact with motorists when you are en route
- Perform basic repairs or tow their vehicle to a garage or specific drop off location
- Safely load cars onto the back of your truck
- Keep your truck clean and in good conditions
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Nevada Driver licence Class C
- At least one year of experience in towing vehicles and motorcycles
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Attention to detail when documenting work
- Physical strength and stamina
- Strong work ethic
- Have used Towbook/Swoop/Bring Apps.
