What You Will Be Doing: Provide high-quality care to assisted living home residents in a warm, supportive, and caring manner. This position provides clinical and medication administration to residents and clinical support to the care teams. Focus will be on quality resident care, the growth, development, and empowerment of health care teams, and the promotion of assisted living philosophy and statutes. This Pioneer Home is an Eden Alternative facility, where the environment includes contact with plants, flowers, and pets including cats, dogs, fish and birds. Special Requirements: Physical strength to lift, assist and transfer patients. AND EITHER

Successful completion of a formal training plan as a Nurse 1 with the State of Alaska; OR One year of entry level experience as a Registered Nurse. Examples of this experience include but are not exclusively limited to prior service as a Nurse 1, Corrections Nurse 1, or Psychiatric Nurse 1 with the State of Alaska or its equivalent with another employer. Substitution: Combinations of prior training and experience as a Registered Nurse in other specializations of nursing care (e.g., Psychiatric, Corrections, Public Health, Critical Care, Surgical) will be evaluated for comparability on a case-by-case basis.
