Step into a rewarding role supporting exceptional students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is based in Lancaster, CA, and focuses on a 2nd–3rd grade ESN caseload. You’ll play a critical part in guiding young learners toward their full potential within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active California mild/moderate credential required
• Experience in Special Education classrooms, particularly with 2nd–3rd grade or similar age groups
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering instruction tailored to students with a range of needs within ESN settings
• Developing lesson plans that support both academic growth and social-emotional development
• Monitoring and documenting student progress in accordance with IEP goals
• Adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to individual learning styles
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment supportive of each student’s unique abilities
