Seeking a Process Engineer Infrared Sensor for a high growth DoW contractor in the Bolingbrook, IL area.

The Process Engineer would be responsible for operating and maintaining MBE Reactors. Run and service material growth reactors and auxiliary process equipment to manufacture both standard and custom crystal structures. Experience with Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics are highly desired.

responsibilities:

• Operate and Maintain MBE Reactors: Run and service material growth reactors and auxiliary process equipment to manufacture both standard and custom crystal structures.

• Provide Cross-Functional Technical Support: Serve as the technical point of contact for technicians, scientists, and engineers regarding materials, devices, processes, and equipment troubleshooting.

• Train and Onboard Team Members: Assist in mentoring and training new personnel on lab protocols, equipment operations, and safety standards.

• Facilitate Team Collaboration: Coordinate and interface seamlessly across departments to ensure the efficient flow of project information and production materials.

• Adapt to Operational Needs: Execute other duties and special projects as assigned to support shifting team and facility requirements.
