Overview
HAZMAT ENDORSMENT & TWIC REQUIRED!!!
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Being able to load and unload their own truck using forklifts.
Responsibilities
- THIS JOB REQUIRES YOU TO ROTATE BEING ON CALL INCLUDING WEEKEND!
- Operate commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks.
- Execute route driving efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Able to operate a forklift safely.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving.
