We’re dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for dogs and cats through routine wellness, urgent care, surgery, dental services, diagnostics, and more. With a focus on building lifelong relationships with pets and their families, we strive to deliver exceptional customer service and advanced medical care in a friendly, supportive environment.**Who You Are:*** **Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Ohio**, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire* **2 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant*** Knowledge of industry tools and equipment* Passion for working with animals and their owners* Experience with proper animal handling and restraint* Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare* Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills* Dental Experience, scaling, polishing, charting, radiographs* Skilled in phlebotomy, IV Catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splints* Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care* Confident with medical math and drug calculations* Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation* Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis* And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law**What Makes Us Different*** Referral program – join our team, bring your friends, and get paid!* Career development and advancement opportunities.* Free monthly continuing education webinars- get paid to learn from home!Learn more about us at: or: AmeriVet: Veterinary Partner Supporting Your Business#LI-CR1At AmeriVet, we’re committed to your growth, development, well-being, and success.
