Job Overview Travel Nurse RN CVICU assignment in New Lenox, Illinois. Start date: 06/01/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour day shifts). Employment type: Travel. Responsible for the treatment and care of heart transplant patients. Educate patients’ families on the ongoing needs and care of the patient. Administer medications, check vital signs, and alert doctors of any major changes in patients’ condition. Act as a liaison between doctors and patients, looking out for each patient’s welfare and relaying important information to patients’ families and friends.
