TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Midland, Texas, 79701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 16 weeks preferred, may consider 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Charting system experience preferred Experience with Cerner is desirable Description: Start date within the next 3-5 weeks. RN will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition. No postpartum duties will be performed. Experience with blood administration, antihypertensives, and postpartum hemorrhage management is necessary. Must be capable of assisting with high-risk deliveries and cesarean sections. Familiarity with administering medications such as magnesium sulfate and terbutaline is essential. Ability to conduct sterile vaginal exams and interpret fetal heart rate patterns is required. Experience in patient assessments, including pain management and IV management, is critical. Candidates should demonstrate strong skills in lactation support and infant identification. Expect to work some weekends and holidays.
