Contents are subject to change at the company's discretion.EducationRequired - Juris doctorate from an accredited law school.Work ExperienceRequired - None.Preferred - Transactional and negotiation experience or other comparable experience.CertificationsRequired - Current admission to practice law in the state of practice or active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability and commitment to obtain bar membership within time frame approved by general counsel.Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the organization.Ability to be a motivated self-starter and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.Ability to be flexible with regard to varied assignments and willingness to develop new areas of expertise.Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., more than 8 hours a day).Job DutiesDelivers legal services to the organization's internal clients as a member of the legal department.Provides legal transactional support to include drafting, negotiating, and contract reviews.Performs legal research and training and provides general corporate legal support as assigned.Identifies and guards against legal risks.Interacts with and directs outside counsel and administrative staff.Performs other related duties as required.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
