GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Quality Technician. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing visual and dimensional inspection of machined metal parts and completed assemblies to determine precise conformance to specifications, tolerances and workmanship standards.
• Performing in-process audits and or internal audits and participating in the validation of inspection fixtures and methods and process reports through change control process.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications for mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Inspecting parts involving numerous precision tolerance dimensions, coordinated dimensions, irregular surfaces and contours which must be inspected by precision measuring instruments from surface plate set ups where no inspection jigs or fixtures are available.
• Supporting manufacturing shop engineers, managers, and operators with customer and supplier issues.
• Calibrating and maintaining all gauges and test machines and performing routine testing to ensure quality and adherence to regulations and standards.
• Leading safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations.

Qualifications, experience, skills/knowledge:

• Two-year or equivalent experience in manufacturing or mechanical field.
• Quality Certification Preferred or Six Sigma accreditation, preferred.
• 3-5 years of prior experience in quality inspection of machined/composite parts, required.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and analytical skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 40lbs.
