Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Your future role at a glance Location: Mequon, WI Facility: Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Department: Nuclear Medicine Schedule: Part-Time | Days How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver precise diagnostic imaging by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, expertly positioning patients, and operating specialized detection cameras to provide physicians with clear, actionable insights for patient care. Safeguard patient and team well-being by strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols, carefully managing radioactive materials, and maintaining a secure, highly clinical standard across all procedures. Ensure seamless care continuity by thoroughly reviewing, verifying, and transmitting high-quality images and accurate patient data directly to PACS for rapid physician interpretation. Maintain continuous operational excellence by performing routine equipment checks, proactively flagging technical issues, and keeping the department clean, organized, and fully compliant. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to Nuclear Medicine. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
