Position Summary
Lead the execution of Data Governance across business and technology initiatives, acting as the primary liaison among Data Governance, Business, Technology, Architecture, Risk, and program teams. This role oversees offshore delivery and ensures governance requirements are embedded throughout each initiative's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead governance planning, intake, prioritization, and execution across active initiatives.
• Translate enterprise policy and governance standards into clear, actionable project requirements.
• Oversee deliverables related to metadata, data lineage, data quality, ownership, classification, authoritative sourcing, and access governance.
• Facilitate stakeholder working sessions and resolve cross-functional dependencies.
• Review offshore deliverables for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and remediation actions in Jira.
• Provide concise status reporting and escalate material governance gaps to leadership.
• Develop repeatable processes, templates, and controls that scale across governance workstreams.
• Lead, mentor, and allocate work across the offshore Data Governance team.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise Data Governance or Data Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of metadata management, business glossaries, data lineage, data quality, data ownership, stewardship, and data controls.
• Experience working with Collibra or a comparable governance platform.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, ETL/data pipelines, cloud data platforms, and data architecture.
• Strong program leadership, stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial-services or regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with Manta, Data Marketplace, Jira, Confluence, and Power BI.
• Exposure to data products, semantic layers, lakehouse architecture, real-time data frameworks, and AI/ML governance.
