Associate Attorney

A well-established national litigation firm is seeking an Insurance Defence Associate to join its growing Orange County or Los Angeles office. This opportunity is open to attorneys across a broad range of experience levels, from newly admitted attorneys through to seasoned litigators looking for a stable platform with significant case responsibility and long-term growth opportunities. Join a nationally recognised litigation practice with a substantial insurance defence portfolio Flexible hiring approach – newly barred attorneys through to experienced counsel-level candidates will be considered Work on a variety of defence matters, including: General liability Transportation / trucking Catastrophic injury Professional liability Product liability Coverage and bad faith matters (depending on experience) Hybrid working environment Strong mentorship available for junior attorneys Significant autonomy and direct client exposure for more experienced candidates Responsibilities Manage cases through all phases of litigation Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda Take and defend depositions Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences Work directly with insurance carriers, insureds, experts, and witnesses Participate in trial preparation and trial work Develop litigation strategy and manage case budgets Requirements Experience in civil litigation or insurance defence preferred Strong legal writing and analytical skills Ability to manage files independently (commensurate with experience level) Trial and deposition experience welcomed but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Primus Search Ltd
