Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient data infrastructure for insights and data-driven decisions.
• Build data products with cross-functional teams to improve Verkada products and customer experience.
• Design and implement solutions for data quality, security, and compliance.
• Lead projects from design through implementation.
• Help lead and grow junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least five years of data engineering-related development experience.
• In-depth expertise in distributed systems and data processing.
• Experience with data infrastructure and data analytics.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment and a focus on product quality.
• Experience with Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience in data visualization and dashboard design is preferred.
