Job Description

Part-Time | Training Provided | Join a Local, Family-Owned Company

Looking for a job where you can stay active, learn something new, and be part of a team that knows your name?

Stoltzfus Meats is looking for a dependable Bakery Prep Associate to join our bakery team.

You don't need professional bakery experience to get started. We'll teach you what you need to know. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, likes staying busy, and takes pride in helping a team get the job done right.

Stoltzfus Meats is a small, family-owned company, and we work hard to maintain that kind of atmosphere. We value dependability, teamwork, respect, and people who care about the quality of their work.

If that sounds like the kind of workplace you're looking for, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Get

• Training provided - bakery experience is not required
• Consistent, dependable work
• Paid Time Off available after 60 days
• Full-time employee benefits
• Opportunities to learn new bakery and food-production skills
• A hands-on job that keeps you moving
• A supportive team environment
• The opportunity to work for a local, family-owned company where your contribution matters

Schedule: 6 am - 12 pm; Thursdays and Saturdays.

What You'll Do

You'll help our bakery team prepare products for our customers and keep everything stocked, organized, and ready for the day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Packaging and labeling fresh bakery products
• Stocking shelves and displays so they're full, fresh, and inviting
• Helping load and unload bakery ovens
• Rotating products and checking freshness and quality
• Preparing products and supplies for the bakery team
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and food-safe
• Helping your teammates wherever needed to keep the bakery running smoothly

It's active, hands-on work, and no two days are exactly the same.

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

• Show up when you're scheduled and can be counted on
• Enjoy staying busy and working with your hands
• Pay attention to details
• Can follow instructions and learn new tasks
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Have a positive, helpful attitude

Previous bakery, food service, production, or retail experience is helpful, but it isn't required. We'll train the right person.

What the Job Is Like

This is an active position. You'll spend much of your day standing, moving, stocking, packaging, and helping prepare bakery products.

Team members should be comfortable:

• Standing and moving throughout the workday
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Working around bakery ovens and areas that can be warm at times

Why Stoltzfus Meats?

We're not a large restaurant or retail chain.

We're a local, family-owned company that has grown by caring about good food, good work, our customers, and the people who work here.

We expect our employees to work hard and take care of one another - and we believe the company should do the same for them.

Whether you're looking for your first bakery job, want to learn a new skill, or simply want a steady place where your work is appreciated, we'd be happy to talk with you.

No bakery experience? That's okay. Bring the right attitude and willingness to learn, and we'll help with the rest.

Apply today and come see what it's like to be part of the Stoltzfus Meats team.
