We Own It!Supervisory ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may vary depending on project-specific requirements and setup, but may include:Change Order ManagerM/WBE Manager/CoordinatorQuality Assurance Manager/CoordinatorInsurance CoordinatorSr. Field Office Manager/Field Office ManagerAssistant Field Office ManagerDocument Control AdministratorOn-site Information Technology (IT) Administrator Functional Areas of ResponsibilityChange order managementM/WBE programQuality assurance programProject contracts, insurance and bondingProject accountingDocument controlClaims managementSpecific Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees compliance with all Austin corporate requirements.Manages the M/WBE coordinator, including:Assists with the qualification of firms for the project bidders listCoordinates and assists in certification for qualified M/WBE firmsInterfaces with owner’s M/WBE tracking departmentOversees M/WBE reportingOversees M/WBE firm mentoringManages the on-site information technology (IT) / network administrator, including:On-site network administratorTechnology issues on-siteManages senior field office manager and other field office managers, including:Subcontractor and vendor billingsMaterial and equipment tracking and inventoryOwner billingsPayroll and personnelJob cost and performance reportingManages cost engineers, including:Monthly reporting as requiredOwner and subcontractor change order administrationProject close-out administrationSubcontractor administration mobilizationContractor insurance administrationManagement of project controls administrative assistantDevelops a chart of accounts for the project to support owner’s requirements.Facilitates monthly reporting to meet Austin and owner requirements.Maintains a complete set of accounting records in accordance with accepted accounting practices and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local statutory regulations.Oversees procurement activities to ensure competitive contracting and compliance with prime contract requirements.Assists project management group in bidder selection relating to contractor qualifications and M/WBE certification.Facilitates the project completion report.Reviews bid packages generated by the Project Management group.Reviews all subcontracts issued for compliance with Austin requirements.Administers contractor and owner contracts.Ensures contractor bond and insurance meet Austin and owner requirements.Implements the owner’s procurement procedures and integrates them with construction management operations.Responsible for procurement of services, equipment, materials, and supplies.Develops and maintains buying status reports.Negotiates exceptions to project terms and conditions for contracts.Interfaces with Austin corporate departments (Legal, Accounting, Insurance, etc.).Reviews and resolves disputes related to subcontractor claims.Qualifications6+ years of experience at Austin Commercial in Project Management positionsFamiliarity with TQM, CMiC and EgnyteStrong Project Controls backgroundAbility to communicate and collaborate with project teams across the countryTravel to different job sites as neededBenefits & CompensationWe offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, and a matching 401K plan.
