• Position Overview:
  \n We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team.
  \n DFWPMA is a fully integrated multidisciplinary Behavioral health practice.
  \n This position is supported by in same office Psychologist, Licensed Behavioral Health, TMS ( FDA Approved ages 14+)

• Opportunity: 
  \n  
  • Outpatient only with flexibility to take inpatient call if desired. 
  \n • 4 day week with flexible hours (7-3, 8-4, 9-5, etc.).
  \n  Up to $460,000 base salary + productivity and quality bonuses.

  \n The successful candidate will provide expert care to patients experiencing mental health disorders. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of psychiatric conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive mental health care.

Practice Details

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Assess and diagnose mental health disorders through clinical evaluations, interviews, and patient histories.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapy, medication, and lifestyle modifications.
\n
• Prescribe and manage medications to treat psychiatric conditions.
\n
• Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and crisis intervention as needed.
\n
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals 
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with confidentiality and legal standards.
\n
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatry to deliver state-of-the-art care.
\n
• Participate in staff training, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
\n

Qualifications and Skills:

\n

\n
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
  
\n
• Valid medical license to practice in Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, treatment modalities, and psychopharmacology.
\n
• Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
\n
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
\n
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
\n
• Subspecialty training or certification in areas such as child and adolescent psychiatry.
