Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, following established protocols.
- Position patients, select appropriate imaging parameters, and apply radiation safety practices to ensure high-quality, ALARA-compliant images.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures; monitor for adverse reactions and communicate findings to the radiology team as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and storage of images; assist with image transfer and billing documentation as required.
- Clean, inspect, and troubleshoot imaging equipment; adhere to facility infection control and safety standards.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technology license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- CT imaging experience or CT certification; ARRT certification in Radiography preferred.
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology (AS degree or equivalent) or demonstrated equivalent education.
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a hospital imaging department.
- BLS/CPR certification or equivalent.
- Strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow established safety and quality guidelines.
