Residential Youth Counselor

Mount Prospect Academy seeks a Residential Youth Counselor to support at-risk youth in a therapeutic, educational residential setting. In this role, you will provide daily supervision, structure, and mentorship, using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches to promote safety, emotional regulation, and positive behavior change. You’ll collaborate with teachers and clinicians, facilitate routines and activities, respond to crises using approved de-escalation methods, and maintain accurate documentation. This position offers training, multidisciplinary teamwork, and opportunities to grow in education and behavioral health.
